Oh, as the sunshine reds my face.
I’m thrown like a stone - put back in place.
Callin’ on years like better days.
And throw it all away.
Breathing in the sunshine days
But walking in circles, closet space.
Callin’ on ears, in better ways.
“Don’t throw it all away.”
But ya fail to see, though it strikes a memory.
And gather all our yesterdays for dreamin.
It’s a longing for the light, or to win another fight.
A chance to feel, a chance to keep on livin.
Though still the sunshine reds my face, I’m seeing much clearer - keeping pace.
I’m singing it now, and that’s okay. They’re singing along, our better days.
One of the best local bands I've ever heard. Great friends of ours. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to "Aging Truths". Ferdinand the Bull
